Statistics & Measurement Theory
The Department of Statistics & Measurement Theory functions was an independent service unit for the Faculty of Behavioural
and Social Sciences (Faculteit der Gedrags-
en Maatschappijwetenschappen GMW).
It offered specialized courses in statistics, methodology, and
data analysis to students from all departments of the Faculty.
In addition it provided a consultative service for staff and
students who require help with their research design, choice of
statistical model, statistical data analysis, or the interpretation
of results from such analyses. Some of its former staff members are now working at the University of Groningen in the Department of Sociology.
